Gold Cup Classic: Rules

Must be 18 years old to participate.

Must be a member in good standing by a National Pigeon Organization.

All Decisions by the Race Committee will be final.

The fees are: $1,500 for a 5 bird team. $500 goes to perch fees, $1,000 paid out in capital, no cuts. All pools will be cut 15% for expenses.

Payment in full MUST accompany birds when shipped to us. Accepting birds from Feb 1st - May 30th.

We are only accepting 100 five bird teams - so get in early!

There will be NO back-ups. The amount of birds going to the race will fly for the complete capital payouts, So send the best you have!

All birds will be shot for PMV, Paratyphoid, and Pox upon arrival.

All training tosses from 25 miles on will be posted here on the website.

All birds on the 1st drop at the 300 will share in the money equally. Payouts on the 100 mile toss and the 200 mile toss will be paid by trapping order. All pools at the 300 mile final race will be paid by trapping order.

WE DO NOT AUCTION OFF YOUR BIRDS!!! There is a $50 buy back per bird DUE BEFORE THE 100 MILE RACE, and you KEEP YOUR PIGEONS! Return shipping is $45 per 2 bird box paid by breeder. Breeder understands that any birds not bought back will remain the sole property of The Gold Cup Classic.

The 100 mile race will be flown on October 25th, the second race at the 200 mile station will be flown one week later on November 1st, the final 300 mile race will be flown 1 week after the 200 mile toss on Novermber 8th. All race dates are weather permitting. We will NOT release YOUR birds in bad weather.
